Orangeville Honda Joins March for Meals

Bolton, ON- March 23, 2017 – Our annual March for Meals day in Orangeville is another one for the record books!

Each March since 2002, Meals on Wheels programs across North America celebrate this proven collaboration of local community organizations, businesses, all levels of government and compassionate individuals to ensure that seniors are not forgotten.

“At Caledon Meals on Wheels, our volunteers and the support of local businesses and governments are the heart of the organization”, says Executive Director Christine Sevigny. They are the glue that holds it together!

The Orangeville event brought back some long time supporters and some new faces. Joining us for the first time was Orangeville Honda. The local dealership donated $500 for the opportunity to deliver meals to local seniors with one of their vehicles.

When asked why they joined the March, Controller Rhonda Reid shared: “We’re participating in March for Meals because we feel it is an important organization within our community and we’re honored to help promote the importance of it.”

Thank you Orangeville for the ongoing support to raise awareness to our programs!
