Here at Caledon Meals on Wheels, we have been working hard to ensure that the clients, volunteers, staff, and the community can stay safe while participating in our programs and services.
How CMOW IS STAYING SAFE
Meal and Grocery Services
New Grocery Program started
Delivery schedule modified as a precaution
Volunteers provided with PPEs
Safe delivery protocols put in place
New packaging to reduce handling of meals
Social and Wellness Programs
Groups and special events suspended
Weekly calls and door way wellness checks & visits are done in place of groups
Resources, small gifts/activities and free TRCA lunches provided during doorway visits
Friendly Visiting & Project Lifesaver
In person visits suspended but phone and virtual
Some summer time outside visits were arranged
Free lunches provided by RCA delivered to residents of Seniors buildings in Caledon
