Feedback & Accessibility at Caledon Meals on Wheels
Our Commitment
Caledon Meals on Wheels is committed to removing barriers so that everyone—clients, volunteers, employees and visitors—can take part in our programs with dignity and independence. We follow the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), the Ontario Human Rights Code and other relevant laws, and we continually review our services to keep them welcoming, safe and culturally respectful.
Requesting Information in an Accessible Format
If you need any of our documents, program materials or website content in an alternate format or with communication supports (for example large print, audio, ASL interpretation or translation), let us know. We will work with you to choose a format that meets your needs at no extra cost and provide it as quickly as possible.
How to share feedback or raise a concern
Your feedback helps us improve. You can offer compliments, suggestions or complaints in writing, by phone or in person.
- Phone: 905-857-7651
- Email: info@cmow.org
- Mail or drop-off: 1-10 McEwan Drive W, Bolton ON L7E 1H1
If you need help putting your feedback in writing, our staff can assist or arrange supports such as interpretation. No one will face retaliation for speaking up.
What Happens After You Contact Us
We acknowledge all feedback within five business days. If your concern requires investigation, we aim to resolve it and get back to you within 30 days. We keep you informed throughout the process and explain any actions taken. If you are not satisfied, you have the right to request an appeal that will be reviewed by our Board of Directors.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Any personal or health information you share is protected under federal and provincial privacy laws (PIPEDA and PHIPA). We collect only the details needed to address your feedback, keep them secure and use them for no other purpose without your consent, except where the law requires.
A Culturally Safe Space
We value the diverse cultural backgrounds of everyone we serve. Our team practises cultural humility and seeks to create an environment where you feel respected, heard and safe. Feedback on how we can better meet cultural, or accessibility needs is always welcome.
