CMOW’S Friendly Visiting Programs offer seniors and people with disabilities who have limited social interaction an opportunity to connect and socialize with friendly volunteers. Regular visits from caring volunteers, in person or over the telephone, provide friendship and support to our clients.
Let’s Get Together / TeleChat
Clients are matched with volunteers who make weekly visits to their home. Visits may include chatting, reading, looking at old photos or even going for a walk. If clients would prefer their visit over the phone we also offer TeleChat. This program is offered free of charge.

CMOW’s friendly Visiting Programs may not be able to accommodate all individuals (e.g. people who cannot be left alone), cannot provide respite care, transportation to appointments or homemaking services.
