FAQ

For your luncheons and card parties, why do I have to pre-register?
We ask that everyone pre-register so that we have enough food available for everyone who attends the party.

When I register for a luncheon, can I choose what I can eat? Is there a menu?
No, the menu is set (either a hot or cold lunch), but please notify us of any allergies or food intolerances and we’ll try to accommodate your request.

Why do I have to pay for the luncheon?
Caledon Meals on Wheels has to recoup the costs of the luncheons so we charge a nominal fee to cover your meal.

What kind of exercise can I expect during the class?
Our exercise program programs are led by our qualified Senior Fitness Instructors. They develop exercise programs suitable for all levels of expertise from gentle exercise, stretching to a little bit of cardio.

I have mobility problems, can I still exercise?
Yes, the programs offer gentle exercises while sitting in a chair to help improve mobility and balance.
