Kim Rodrigues Becomes Newly Appointed Executive Director – Press Release
The Board of Directors at Caledon Meals on Wheels is delighted to introduce Kim Rodrigues as the newly appointed Executive Director, effective November 13, 2023.
Kim brings a wealth of expertise garnered from over 25 years in the non-profit sector, with a dedicated focus on developmental services, autism support, and victim advocacy. Her extensive tenure in senior leadership roles spanning 15 years within various non-profit organizations underscores her profound commitment to driving positive change.
Kim arrives at Caledon Meals on Wheels equipped with an innovative mindset, wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience, ready to propel our mission forward. Notably, Kim is known for fostering robust, collaborative partnerships—an asset that aligns with our values and objectives. Her personal attributes of confidence, competence, enthusiasm, and unwavering compassion is something she brings to all her work.
“I am truly honoured to join the Caledon Meals on Wheels family and contribute to advancing our dedication to serving the community,” shared Kim. “Our organization’s focus on person-centered services underscores our commitment to fostering wellness, social interconnectedness, and community enrichment”.
Kim’s commitment to continuous learning shines through her academic pursuits, encompassing a diverse array of disciplines. Her educational background spans university and college degrees, specializing in crisis intervention, psychosocial rehabilitation, and volunteer management. Additionally, she holds a Master of Education with a focus on distance learning, a postgraduate certificate in Public Sector Leadership from the Rotman School of Business, and recently she achieved a diploma in Human Resources, earning her the esteemed designation of Certificated Human Resources Leader (CHRL).
Grand Parade Fundraiser
Thank you to everyone who joined and supported Caledon Meals on Wheels in our first Grand Parade Fundraiser on September 16th, 2023! We have raised an outstanding $20,075 thus far, and are able to continue to take donations until October 31st, 2023.

The Grand Parade is a family-friendly fundraiser walk that helps support local charities who serve and support seniors and their families across Canada.
